Field Trip-Wildlife Park

Two Rivers Wildlife Park offers a unique experience to everyone from the avid nature lover to the casual observer. Within its five hundred plus acre grounds live over 50 species of native and non-native animals and birds, a petting zoo, hiking and cross-country ski trails, wagon and sleigh rides, a "U-fish" pond, children's playground, and more.
On Friday May 24th, ICEAP NS Student Services Department took over 30 students on a field trip to Two Rivers Wildlife Park, Cape Breton Island. Students were over joyed with the sights of more than 12 varieties of domestic and wild animals including black bears,white-tailed deer, moose and cougars. Students also enjoyed the spectacular view of the Mira and Salmon Rivers. The trip was a great success and created memeories to last a lifetime.
